Hey! I’m Rodrigo—originally from Brazil, but Maui has been home for the past 19 years. When I’m not photographing couples or planning elopements, you’ll probably find me cycling around the island, surfing some of my favorite breaks, or spinning deep house sets as a local DJ.
I share my life with my two amazing kids and two dogs. It’s a full, chaotic, beautiful life—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, but I stumbled into the wedding world by chance. It started when I photographed a friend’s wedding for free… and just like that, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve built a career capturing honest, emotional moments as a Maui elopement photographer for couples from around the world.
I created Elope in Hawaii for the couples who want something different—those looking to elope somewhere off the beaten path. Whether that means hiking to a waterfall, standing on a cliff at sunrise, or finding a quiet stretch of beach far from the crowds, I’m here to help you plan a stress-free, meaningful elopement that feels like you. Your guest list can be just the two of you or up to 25 of your favorite humans—it’s still an elopement if it’s centered on your love, not a production.
